We partnered with one of the country’s premier racing syndicates to build a website and ownership portal that could keep pace with a business that blends tradition, competition, and a whole lot of complexity. They breed and race elite-level horses, with partners across the country who each hold stakes in one or more thoroughbreds. Our job? Build a system that could serve all of them — public fans, private stakeholders, and internal staff alike.

The Challenge

This wasn’t just a website. It had to be:

The Solution

We built a comprehensive platform that’s equal parts CMS, CRM, analytics engine, and secure partner portal. Public visitors see a polished, informative site with everything from Hall of Fame horses to upcoming races. Owners get a private, personalized dashboard with everything related to their investments. And staff have tools to handle operations, finances, and partner relationships at scale.

There’s a built-in knowledge base for prospective owners, and a news feed for fans and partners to stay in the loop with the latest results, updates, and milestones.

Owner Portal

Each partner gets a personalized dashboard showing only the horses they own. They see exclusive updates, financial documents, and a clear view of their current stable. Key tools include:

Offer System for New Horses

Staff can craft custom offers for new ownership opportunities and send them to select partners or the full list. Access controls let them fine-tune visibility, and partners receive a rich, tailored pitch with all the relevant details.

Staff-Driven Invoicing Portal

The back office integrates with their in-house accounting tools to generate high-quality invoices. These can be grouped by horse or combined into a single payment. Admins can see when partners view invoices, track payments, and issue reminders. This system has replaced many hours of manual coordination each month.

Tax Document Management

Staff can upload documents in bulk, associate them with the right owners, and track who’s received what. No more chasing PDFs in inboxes.
