Our Work
An LMS that doesn’t act like one. Education infrastructure for a tech-first company. Git-powered learning at enterprise scale.
Because of lawyers, this company will go nameless, but you’ve heard of them. They needed an education platform to deliver highly technical training to a global audience across multiple disciplines. So wide, in fact, that it had to support multiple front-ends, each with its own domain, brand identity, and content library. And for the educators? It needed to feel like home: flexible, familiar, and optimized for deep technical content.
Build a learning management system that didn’t feel like a learning management system. It needed to:
We built a custom multi-tenant LMS from the ground up. Each academy ran on its own domain with its own theme, content, and user base. But behind the scenes, it all ran on the same powerful engine. A shared design system and templating layer made it easy to spin up new sites, while tenant-specific overrides let each brand have its own voice.
The system tracks progress, awards achievements, and makes learners feel like they’re leveling up — not just ticking boxes.
Course creators work in Markdown and YAML inside GitHub — no clunky admin interfaces or drag-and-drop widgets. A CLI tool + GitHub Actions sync everything to our API and database. It’s dev-friendly, version-controlled, and automated.
Many courses require hands-on environments. We integrated with a custom virtual IDE system that spins up real instances for each learner. Our orchestration layer tracks sessions, balances the load, and ensures nobody crashes the party.
It’s not just about single-user logins. Many customers come in through the front door wanting to buy training for their entire engineering team. We built robust tools to handle bulk license management, seat assignments, team hierarchies, and learning analytics. CTOs like dashboards too.
The platform powered a suite of branded academies and served tens of thousands of learners. New academies could be launched quickly. Content updates flowed straight from GitHub. Teams could buy access, track progress, and prove ROI. And learners? They got an experience built for engineers, by engineers.
